The first story about the animals is a fun way to look at college and what it means to be educated. It shows that it is better to be skilled in multiple areas rather than to excel in one area. Many of the elements in the story talked about spending more time on one thing that you need to work on. This helps the animals to be well-rounded. I agree with the idea that people should be well rounded and should have knowledge in many different areas. However, if someone is good at a particular thing, I think that they should work to perfect that certain skill.
College Education and Technology
I really liked the second article on the future of technology in education. I think that it is something that is very interesting to think about. The materials we use today may one day become outdated and "old school". I think that the reason for this is because technology is always growing and reaching new levels. Eventually students may realize that they are taking more and more classes online. The future holds no limits on what technology will be used. This articles mentions blackboards. We can already see that blackboards are starting to fade out. Many newer classrooms have SmartBoards. These will soon replace blackboards all together. They will become a thing of the past. As technology advances, students will have to learn to adapt to these changes. Education will be completely different than it is now. This is the same as how education was in the past compared to how it is now.

The video about the college was funny to watch and exposed many different stereotypes about college. I didn't really like this video, and didn't like the way the information was presented. However, it was interesting to see the different things that they said about college. Many of the points they brought up in the video were somewhat true in different universities. This type of commercial is the complete opposite of what a college commercial would be like. It points out bad things about the college that may be true, but would not appeal to incoming students.
